This is a delightful wine. From the first soft sip, the palate discovers additional flavours and subtleties as each additional sip reveals new interest. I'm not quite sure how this wine manages such versatility while retaining its easy-drinking characteristic and value for money. We opened a bottle to accompany peppers stuffed with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and cannellini beans flavoured with lots of garlic and some chilli, topped with goat's cheese, and served with new potatoes and broccoli. I'm looking forward to serving it at weekends when we often indulge ourselves with meat from our local butcher. In these lockdown days it's good to relish the better things in life.
