Anton Bauer 'Reserve' Pinot Noir 2013, Wagram, Austria 75cl
Dry red wine, 75cl. Full bodied 100% Pinot Noir from Wagram, Austria. 14.0% ABV.
Dense, characteristic ruby colour. Intense notes of herbs on the nose with smoky berry aromas in the background. Ripe and juicy on the palate with lively tannins. Elegant!
Tasting notes from Anna Krebiehl MW, Wine Enthusiast
"Smoky oak frames red and black cherry and offers hints of intense fruitiness, almost of Kirsch. There's an undertow of wet earth and leaves, of finely ground white pepper, presented with pliable, velvety softness. Yet there is freshness and precision and the well-fused harmoniousness of all these elements that makes Pinot such a compelling, haunting proposition." 94/100 Points
