Dry red wine, 75cl. Full bodied 80% Sangiovese and 20% Malvasia Nera blend from Tuscany, Italy. 13.0% ABV.
An intense ruby red colour, with brilliant garnet hues, Ample and lingering on the nose, aromatic with hints of brushwood, musk, vanilla, almond, plum and magnolia. On the palate it is velvety and full-bodied with well-balanced acidity. Warm with rounded tannins, this wine has a long life ahead of it.
Tasting notes from the judges of the Sommelier Wine Awards 2020
'This is showing lovely development, with chocolate and balsamic notes - a vibrant style.' Raphael Thierry, consultant. 'Very intense flavours of red fruits, leather, cherry liquer and vanilla and cedar oak notes. A pricey but well-made wine, and a solid option for bottle list placement anywhere.' Tim Smith, Winesurfer Consulting.
