Tasting notes from the judges of the Sommelier Wine Awards 2020
'Some developed notes here, with honey, minerality, beeswax, toffee and hay aromas leading to a complex, savoury, creamy texture.' Matthieu Longuère MS, team leader. 'Aromas of citrus and green apple with hints of brioche and soy, leading onto a palate that's crisp and fresh with a vibrant mousse.' Daniel Eriksen, Anglian Country Inns. 'An elegant, creamy style that would be good with white fish and light sauces.' Vivienne Franks, Aspects of Wine.
Producer Profile Champagne Brice

The brothers own 8 hectares of vines in Bouzy and source fruit from the historic Grands Crus villages of Aÿ, Bouzy, Cramant and Verzenay. Champagne Nicolas Fetizon is named after one of the Brice family’s ancestors. Nicolas Fetizon was the first mayor of Bouzy during the French revolution who later purchased a parcel of land from the local church which included their holy vineyard.
