Domaine Laurent Boussey Monthelie Blanc 2016, Burgundy, France

Domaine Laurent Boussey

Dry white wine, 75cl. Medium bodied 100% Chardonnay from Burgundy, France. 13.5% ABV.

This charming village nested in side of hillsides, bordering of Volnay and Meursault is planted by only 10% of chardonnay, which gives a wine the aromas of white flowers, fresh almonds, lemon and minerality.

Tasting notes from the judges of the Sommelier Wine Awards 2020

'A spicy, savoury oak nose, with some baked apple and lemon curd, while the palate's more mineral, with lightly spiced apple cake.' Angela Reddin, team leader. 'A really good wine, with dried apricot, nuts, candid lemon and marzipan, as well as wet stones. Rich and matured.' Matteo Furlan, The Ritz London.
