Clos Le Comte, located in Preignac in the heart of the Sauternes AOC (40kms south of Bordeaux) is an eight hectare domaine, six of which are in Sauternes; the remaining two are in Graves. The vineyards were first planted in 1929 and have been under the ownership of Jean Michel and Celine Lecomte since 2000. Working with passion and rigour, the Lecomtes practice “agriculture raisonée” working as near to organically as possible to ensure their wines are of the highest quality.
