Dry rosé wine, 75cl. Medium bodied, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle blend from Côtes de Provence, France. 13.5% ABV.
Making its first appearance in the UK, M–G Grande Cuvée Rosé is a fabulous new addition to our portfolio. This is a mouthwatering, modern style of Côtes de Provence Rosé made from old vines within some of the best vineyards in the appellation. A complex and elegant bouquet offers a floral and delicate red fruit mix with notes of white peach. The silky palate has a creamy texture with red berry flavour accompanied by a beautiful minerality as well as a long and delicate finish. Decanter World Wine Awards Silver Medal.
"Pale, peachy Provençal pink. While there is an immediate impression of delicate red fruits, there's also a chalky/stone-dust quality that gives it elegance. Bone dry and with a lot of fruit depth and roundness in the mouth. Fresh and vibrant but not simple. Long with an attractively stony finish. Very well balanced between depth of tangy fruit and excellent freshness." (JH) 16.5/20. JancisRobinson.com
Producer Profile Maison Gutowski
Maison Gutowski is a work of passion from Franco-Swiss entrepreneur Aline Gutowski, who released her first vintage in 2016. Aline's dream was to create products whose ambition lies simply in their quality, a delicate rosé wine inspired by the essence of pleasure for lovers of good taste. It was through years of exploration and research through Provence to create the most delicate expression of the rosé, that M-G Rosé Grand Cuvée was born. Thanks to the diversity of the soils in the appellation, Côtes de Provence, the estate is doing a rigorous selection among some of the most qualitative terroirs to create a blend using traditional grape varieties on the soils they best express themselves.
