Tasting notes from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"Tasted blind at the 2007 Bordeaux horizontal in Southwold. The VCC 2007 is really beginning to show its class with bottle age. It has a lovely nose: blackberry, roasted chestnut, hot gravel and smoke that is very subtle and refined. The palate is beautifully balanced with crisp acidity, very structured with the Cabernet Franc defining the spice-tinged finish. Great authority here, this is a serious wine that will repay cellar age." 92/100 Points

"Will be assembled next week. 72% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Sauvignon was unripe although Alexandre Thienpont added a little Cabernet Sauvignon press wine! Particularly bright deep crimson, very healthy looking. Supple, slightly green nose but with real satin to it - smooth and polished. Very fine, lively, complete and polished." 17,5/20 Points
