Dry red wine, 75cl. Full bodied 100% Pinot Noir from Los Árboles, Mendoza, Argentina. 13.5% ABV.
Fragrant and pretty with youthful vibrancy of ripe red cherry, raspberry and plum. Attractive floral aromas of red roses and violets nicely intermingles with delicate notes of herbs, lavender, wild ruccola and an underlying scent of spicy nutmeg and orange zest. Focused linearity with bright acidity, flinty mineral power, chalky texture and fine-grained elegant tannin structure which will allow for complex development in the bottle.
Tasting notes from Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The family likes to drink older wines, so their own wines are matured in bottle for longer than normal. So, they are releasing a 2014 La Linterna Pinot Noir Finca Las Piedras – Parcela #12 Los Arboles, which is produced in a Burgundian way with developed aromas of forest floor and some sweet spices. The fruit is quite ripe, and the palate is polished and approachable. This is ready to drink now. 4,304 bottles were produced. It was bottled in 2016."91/100 Points
