Hungary has been producing wine since the Roman’s and its most famous most wine region, Tokaj, has been Aszu, is known as the Vinum Rexum, Rex Vinroum, Wine of kings and the king of wines. Hungary has a rich variety of local grape varieties, with two of the best being Furmint in Tokaji and Kekfrankos in Eger.
