Generations is a Bordeaux-style blend created to honour the Mondavi family's past, present and future. The fruit is night-picked from the estate vineyards in Yountville and aged in new French oak barrels. The full bodied wine shows aromas of black cherry, coffee bean and blueberry segue that leads to a long finish of ripe berry and crème brûlée.

It is the oldest winery in the Napa Valley and has been owned and operated by the Peter Mondavi, Sr. family for four generations, since 1943. In late 2013, Charles Krug Winery opened its newly transformed and renovated historic Redwood Cellar Tasting Room and Hospitality Center. Originally built in 1872, the stunning space is a Registered National Historic Landmark.
