This 2012 Pauillac displays a ruby-tinted deep, intense red colour. The expressive and very rich nose develops biscuit, black fruit (such as blackcurrant) and cocoa with spicy notes. The silky, creamy palate has integrated sweet tannins with fruit notes dominated by juicy blackberries, cassis and cherries with hints of chocolate and coffee. The elegant and balanced mouthfeel is followed by an aromatic long finish. A stunning Pauillac!
Producer Profile Château La Fleur Peyrabon
The estate owns 52 hectares which 45 is located on the Haut-Medoc appellation and are used for the production of Château Peyrabon. The 7 remaining hectares are located on the Pauillac appellation and are used for the Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon Cru Bourgeois production. In 2005, the estate purchased 5 hectares, also for the Fleur de Peyrabon production.
