For this extremely limited edition 40 year old single malt from Miltonduff, the spirit was first distilled in 1982 and has matured in a refill bourbon hogshead. During its maturation, the distillery changed ownership 3 times! The gentle golden colour maybe misleading but this is a velvety, and elegant whisky. The flavoursome dram is complex yet fresh and brimming of orchard floor, berry fruit, elderflower, cream and almonds.
