Dark ruby with nearly opaque core, violet highlights and a thin, transparent rim. Dark berry fruit, black berry jam and dark minerals. A juicy, sweetly extracted core is elegantly wrapped in a harmonious veil of fine-grained tannin. Long finish of dark fruit and notes of gianduja. Excellent potential for further development and ageing. A very fine wine.

Anton Bauer is a 29-hectare family-owned estate located in Wagram. It has been run by the 4th generation since 1992 when Anton Bauer took over the 3.2-hectare winery from his parents after studying oenology and training in Burgundy. Anton’s winemaking philosophy is centred around the uncompromisingly pursuit of quality, paying particular attention to underlining features of the terroir that are reflected in the unique character of his wines.
