A full bodied and powerful red with an aromatic nose that offers ripe blackberries, blueberries, plum backed by liquorice and chocolate notes. The rich, flavourful palate is well structured with round and ripe tannins, freshness and a long finish. A splendid bottle of St Emilion Grand Cru.
Producer Profile Château Trianon
The 14,5 hectares estate is located south west of St Emilion, and since 2000 belongs to Dominique Hébrard, former co-owner of Château Cheval Blanc, which had been in his family since 1832. Dominique was a member of its board between 1991 and 1999. and was responsible for the vineyard management, winemaking, and marketing. Since his ownership of Château Trianon, he undertook its re-organisation and renovation as well as the development of its brand.
